We've WIP-ed; but I'm just not BLOWN away yet.

My pick for drink: Shirley Temple

Went for dinner with Shian, Dom, and Paul to this very-much-talked-about restaurant/cafe/lounge in Bangsar Shopping Centre known as W.I.P...Nothing too spectacular, food maybe btter off slightly than just being 'average' (in my opinion) and the service was....nay. We had to hold up for a table like about almost close to an hour - After being told that there were no empty tables for dine-in, they suggested perhaps we wait a while for a place...that took us 10 minutes or so. Later, the staffs cleverly got us to sit and wait at the couch/drinking area, which was a tactic to keep us from 'running away', I'm guessing - but really, after we got seated there, they kept us waiting for another 45 minutes like that! WTF.. We were all getting hungry by the minutes by now! So, though they may be very 'hot' now, but they definitely didn't impress me by their services provided, albeit the couch that was ver comfortable to sit on indeed. U SHOULD NEVER KEEP HUNGRY PEOPLE WAITING FOR ALMOST A FREAKING HOUR!!!! But the night ended well, we got loaded with foods in our tum-tums and we all headed back right after. For those you wanna try them out:

Cafe WIP
Lot G111, Ground Floor, Bangsar Shopping Centre,
285, Jalan Maarof, Bukit Bandaraya,
59000 Kuala Lumpur.
Tel: 03-2094 1789/2789
Operational Hours: Daily from 12 noon till “closing” (now what does it mean...? I dunno!)

My foodie pick: Tempura Fish Burger (Hungry Jacks' CHICKEN ROYALE tastes 1000x nicer ok!!!)

Got another activity up with the bunch of poyos tomoz! Sleep time (OMG It's 4.10am already and  here I am blogging wtf when I should be waking up in the next 3 hours!)

KFC (M) memang TERSENDIRI

When DK and Evelyn told me how much the Australian KFC is 'just different' I was very much eager to try it on first-hand when I was there. True to what they say, it was - and for me, it only made me miss Malaysian KFC soon after tasting the Australian one! Something was NOT right for me - healthier it could be as clearly it was not as greasy, oily like the ones back in homeland but they were definitely lacking a certain spice, which I really can't figure out, just yet! (While eating, I even thought that, "Hell, my self-cooked Kentucky fried chicken easily beats this too!"

I craved Malaysian one alot till yesterday I finally got myself a good serve. Weeee~~~~~~

They even had a new menu on the line .... Say hello to KFC's Macaroni & Cheese

On ad...

The real-deal that Tiffany ordered!

Also their new breakfast menu!

Of course, what I have been yearning since a month.....KFC's Fried Chicken of Malaysia!!!! Glorious, yummylicious till it's really finger-lickin' good!

I am definitely more a fan towards Hungry Jack's than KFC anytime I'm in Melbourne, that's a fact:)

WAKE ME UP WHEN OCTOBER COMES - Updated

Wow what a long time hiatus - my last post was July 9th???WTF!Lol.

Can't blame la okay...as much as I wanted to blog my body felt too lazy to cooperate (in Melbourne) cos of the lazy, cold weather- all I wanted to do is zzz and I lost my blogging mood awhile (since I touched down good ol' Kay-El again) What do you expect when all I can think of is missing that someone so far away from me now, hoh?!

I'm feeling abit better since yesterday actually. Especially when DK reminded me to, "Take this trip back as holiday more than anything else." - since we'll be meeting again in October, of course. And all the more comforting is the fact that I came back to Malaysia mostly with souvenirs and fruit, minus all my clothes - which I left in Melbourne on PURPOSE, with DK's permission of course! ( Think about it, no use to bring all my stuffs up and down with me each time that I go over, if I'm gonna head there in the future anyhow..so might as well start unofficially make my shift there by now lor.....)

Two days before I departed, we made time to visit DK's Aunt Johanna and her husband, Uncle John (who is hilarious!) in their country home to celebrate their joint-birthday as well as to go up the mountain to have my first experience in the snow! FYI When DK moves in to his own home end of this year, he will be sharing it with them as well.

Upon reaching, we hurried off to go up Mount Donna Buang, which is like about a 15 mins ride from their place. It was so freezy there. I loved the snow, though too bad there were no snow falling from the sky at that very moment. Well, there's always next time-so I just took this trip to enjoy looking at those that already fell on the ground la, cincai lor....Snow still ma, haha!

DK reminded me to not drop the camera...but was that ACTUALLY a subliminal way telling me not to drop my clumsy-self off the tower??? LMAO

All snowed-in...

We are actually freezing in this shot but still wanna take photos! LOL

Naughty DK: We soooo got to get one pic of us doing this!
(HAHAHA-We are such kiss-whores eh???!! I'm not complaining cos I like it as much too!*shameless grin*)

I liked this picture of mine; candidly nice one! I'm WANT to just put it up here for the heck of it!:p

Daym, I think DK is au-naturale here, ! *Ally drools*

With Aunt Johanna (Uncle John 'shut' himself in the car citing the chill! Spoill-sport kan?:P)

The cute couple at home:

Hairdo can deceive you, becareful what you see....LOL

Havoc sakan satu rumah!

DK clearly overloaded himself with food that day - he kept eating like a monster!

Us, after having a heavy session of eating:P

A day before I took flight, we went to tour the current exhibition at the Melbourne Museum, "A Day In Pompeii". We also spent time looking at the usual displays of the museum before we proceeded for Harry Potter: The Half-Blood Prince with DK's very cute cousin, James, and lovebirds: Frankie & Vivian. As expected, I slept somewhere between the movie, BUT not as bad as my previous sleeping-sessions during the previous years of HPs screening la where I can sleep from halfway of the movie till the end credit- this, I only dozed off like about 30 minutes???:P

James on the computer game//Boys will always be boys...

Some perasan dude just loves enter-framing!!!

Nothing much to talk about on my leaving day la, except I cried like a baby. Yes, I cried but so what if it makes me feel better, no?:P DK was acting 'tuff enough consoling me but then he bocor-ed to me on the phone (a day after I arrived Malaysia) that he actually WAITED for me to show up just for a little while after I entered the Departure Hall, to which I didn't. So after about 5 minutes, he walked off....with tears in his eyes. He stood awhile at a nearby spot; not bothered about the rest of people around him, cried like a baby (I guess) and later drove home; back to his now-empty,quiet,no-Ally apartment/bedroom...October awaits.

A month of living together changes thing. In my case, for the better. What about you, baby?

Timeless Ordinary

Busy eh? More likely I've been lazy! So lazy till I zzz all the more often - I have been doing TOO MUCH of it! LOL It must be the weather in Melbourne or something. Like serious zzz-ing okay?!!! I get on the bed I zzz, I spend some time on the computer and I zzz off the table, I get in the car and in about few minutes I can zzz off too! Wtf.
Anyway... yesterday DK took me to this tourist spot; Sovereign Hill at Ballarat, which was about 2 hours journey from Camberwell. It's a unique place for visit. Why unique? Cos this is the place where it was once known for its gold mines and you get to relive and experience the past yourself - Gold mines aside, people there were even interestingly dressed, as if they were still in the 1800s! So colonial feeling.

We joined a 45mins underground tour which was to me, the hilite of the day! It exposed us to how men in those days worked their butt off so hard and risked their health/life underground for the sake of finding gold for their fortune-seeking employer! Quite pitiful when I try to imagine myself in their state of life. Something so completely different and bizarre to what my life is. When things a little slack in life we start complaining, but these men just didn't have that priviledge to, especially not during that time where they probably have so many mouths to feed in their family. And their pay was if I'm not mistaken, like a pound. An hour/day is alrite I guess cos a pound equates to AUS$500 today but if its a month....omg.....it's hard life you know.

They even have school for their kids too -this is how the classroom looks like.

Melbourne - Day 12

Woke up today - making for both, DK & myself, a healthy brekkie of Sardine Cheese Roll! I have eaten mine by now but he hasn't cos he is sleeping away at the moment - he will be on Night Duty(after almost half a year getting off night shifts!) for 4 days beginning today, so he was just getting himself back into 'the mode' of sleeping during the day.

Therefore, he stayed awake the longest he could and only went to sleep about 6am today, I guess. I am not entirely sure what time...cos clearly I bonked-out waaaayyyy earlier than him. I dozed off to sleep while watching DVD with him like 3x!!! Alas, seeing how sleepy I was, he suggested we continue finishing up the rest of the movie later today..... told me get my sleep first:P

BTW So weird ok, I dunno why was I so tired or something (prolly the so chilly weather too!)-Never in my life was I fully-covered like yesterday, it was so freaking cold, I had chills all over my body-I HAD TO RUN FOR COVER! FROM HEAD TO TOE ya know....errrr.....I am only exxagerating here, it was more of From Neck to Toe la actually...So babi rite???? Tee-hee. So here goes>>>>>>>>>>>Tada!!!

I looked at myself here, I just laughed - cos I think I look retarded, though DK thinks it's cute- that I'm all warm & toasty, haha! (He made me give these silly poses, mind you! LOL) OMG I wonder what's with him these days, with a growing interest to snap photos leh!!!! Don't believe me? Scroll down for more:P
(See shots of Evelyn below - him being the photographer....what nonsense to snap people moving out and into a new place! HAHAHAHA.) I wasn't the one with the idea, but he came up to me to tag our camera along when we were to go out! WTF LOL

So my DK ada gaya not to be a pro-photog?:P (Ish Ally memang kes perasan!)

So yeah, in regards to Evelyn---she finally moved out to a new place. DK and I, helped her to shift - you can tell the neat, young lady is very happy about her big leap out for freedom after living for such a long-time with her 'difficult, messy' relatives, haha.

Right before we went to Evelyn's place, while heading to DK's parking lot at his apartment, I ran towards him to give him a tight hug from the back. Being the classic clumsy me, I accidentally gave him this scratch using my spectacles that I was holding on my blardy hand! It was a pity looking at his beautiful hand, now scratched, all because of me, so clumsy!!!!!!!!!!!! Unsightly & red right, but my poor babee boo never complained or EVEN blamed me - he can still joke about it saying, "This will be scarred for life". Ish. It only goes to show how much he sayang me and how lucky I am to get a wonderfool, understanding man like him for myself~~~awwww, baby you spoill me too much, too, too much---but I love the fact that you do, hehe! PS: Still, I'm SORRY again, dear:)

BEAUTY IS...

The London Bridge

I never saw oceans looking as beautiful as they are until 3 days ago! I have to say that I was in love again.....this time, with nature - such breathtaking views! The Great Ocean Road is indeed, GREAT.

Sherbrooke's River!

The Twelve Apostles

The Loch Ard Gorge Beach-walk

DK took me to the city at night. We boarded the train. In the city, I went abit bonkers just snapping away scenery photos like any tourist would do, hahaha, I'm so sampat!:P Then we strolled along the Waterfront before stopping over a nearby cafe to enjoy some more of quiet, nice and romantic time together:P

The fact that it was so chilly at nite and my blardy cheap shoe was causing my feet to sore made me cut our trip really short for now----urgh!

Be looking to my day trip to the city soon though, when we go and visit the museum for an exhibition on his off-day:)

Tra-la-la Trippin'!

Oh today's entry is an opportunity for me to show off DK's rented apartment in Melbourne. I think it's really a comfy place, so far.....but can't wait to see his actual REAL OWN house, come December this year!:)

Unlike in Malaysia, heating up your legs in a cold country @ winter is indeed a heavenly thing to do!

Fried Rice @ Home

Apple, not Passionfruit- Huhu!

The Famous Crispy Chicken

His

Mine

Yesterday----
DK came home and I served him a late lunch of my 'Rojak' Fried Rice and he loved it - He was a happy, load-up boyfriend after that... and obviously I was a happy girlfriend seeing my boyfriend being the happy, load-up boyfriend. LOLOLOLOL We snuggled up awhile while watching DVD and then we pigged-in awhile till it was.....err....Dinnertime! My god, really babi man both of us! Hahaha.

Went to Box Hill, to thisAsian eatery - 1228 TEA HOUSE- Went there as DK said they had a generous portion in its food & their fried chicken is yummy.

But I guess I was not having much food-luck yesterday la. Why? Cos my orders were all hay-wired!!! I wanted to get myself Ice Blended Passionfruit with Pearl ( Those yam balls, black in colour wan) but they ran out of stock on Pearls. Ok nvm, just the Passionfruit then----when the drink arrived, I sipped and I sipped several times wondering, 'Why the hell this taste nothing like Passionfruit but an Apple instead???' To double confirm my wonderings I got DK to try it and he went, 'Yeh, it's APPLE.' Ish!

Then I ordered for Fish Fillet in Rice since I had the famous fried chicken as a side dish (which btw, DK wrongfully ordered in Spicy instead of what I actually wanted: Original), earlier. The waiter came back to me and said they don't have fish fillet for the day! So guess what? I ordered Rice with...........yea, Fried Chicken again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Urgh!!!WTF. #!^*%#$#!!!!!

Lucky the food was delicious though. Thank god that was not ruined.
PS: Lucky DK 'dengar salah' what I wanted cos apparently the Spicy tasted waaaayyyyyyyy better than the Original Crispy Chicken >_<

Yay, looking forward to our trip tomorrow. Going to the Great Ocean Road, ya'll!:)
